A Tale Of Three Leaders

Western officials revealed today that Iran has a heavily guarded, underground uranium enrichment facility in the arid mountains near the holy city of Qom that will be able to produce the payload for atomic warheads. Through intelligence developed by U.S., French and British agencies the existence of this facility has been known but Iran kept the facility hidden from the IAEA until revealing it in a letter to the agency on Monday.

Now that the radioactive cat is out of the bag, all three leaders of the Western powers involved spoke out about the issue:
"If by December there is not an in-depth change by the Iranian leaders, sanctions will have to be taken." - French President Nicolas Sarkozy
President Sarkozy was one of the few world leaders who quickly and definitively branded Iran's June election result a fraud and his statements today were just as decisive.
"Confronted by the serial deception of many years, the international community has no choice today but to draw a line in the sand" - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown
Prime Minister Brown strongly questioned the Iranian election in June and said the violence against protesters threatened Iran's international standing. His comments today enforce that commitment to real consequences for unacceptable behavior.
"We have offered Iran a clear path toward greater international integration if it lives up to its obligations, and that offer stands. But the Iranian government must now demonstrate through deeds its peaceful intentions or be held accountable to international standards and international law." - United States President Barack Obama
Huh? This useless blathering really should come as no surprise considering President Obama was the world leader who refused to “meddle” by speaking out against the violent oppression of the Iranian people by their fraudulently elected government. We have come to expect these kind of legalese, professorial, worthless statements from this man who made his political career by voting "present" so he never had to take a stand.
Ok, I counted wrong. Only two leaders spoke out today. Two leaders and one community organizer who is obviously way out of his league.
