As I type this it is early afternoon on Saturday and hundreds of thousands of people fed up with out-of-control government spending are protesting in Washington D.C. Dismissive of their critics as usual, the Obama administration continues to ignore a large segment of the American people. Along with their enablers in the mainstream media, they continue to marginalize the tea party movement but they just can't seem to find one plausible reason to keep on marginalizing. Either the protesters are ridiculed as "astroturf" meaning that they are professionally organized by some Republican political machine or they are an unknown group according to people like Mr. Gibbs whose claim that he doesn't know about them either means he is the most uninformed White House spokesman in history or he's lying.
Perhaps hundreds of thousands of Americans who have taken time from their lives to travel to our nation's capitol to voice their concerns will finally win them the simple acknowledgement that they, and the millions of Americans who agree with them, exist.
