Grayson: Republicans Want You To Die Quickly
By Carole on Sep 30, 2009
The far left has a new hero and the Democrats have a new headache and both are named Alan Grayson. Representative Grayson (D-Florida) took to the House floor Tuesday night and criticized Republican health care proposals as a "blank piece of paper". That's nothing out of the ordinary in the heated debate over health care reform but then he added, "If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: die quickly. That's right. The Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick." (source)

Now former President Bill Clinton is "helping" President Obama by dragging out the old vast, right-wing conspiracy accusation. With friends like these, who needs vast conspiracies?
I Smell A VAT

Four months ago I wrote in this space about the possibility of a value added tax or VAT - a federal sales tax on virtually anything purchased by everyone - as a way to pay for President Obama's obscenely expensive ideas. At that time I said it would be the perfect shell game - take hard earned money from everyone, everyday and use that money to "give" them things like a national health care system. Some in the administration were advocating the idea. Others were refusing to rule it out. And now, it's front and center again.
A Tale Of Three Leaders
By Carole on Sep 26, 2009
Western officials revealed today that Iran has a heavily guarded, underground uranium enrichment facility in the arid mountains near the holy city of Qom that will be able to produce the payload for atomic warheads. Through intelligence developed by U.S., French and British agencies the existence of this facility has been known but Iran kept the facility hidden from the IAEA until revealing it in a letter to the agency on Monday.
