Here A Chavista, Here Another Chavista

The Obama administration wants a leftist leader with no respect for his country's constitution to be saved from the rule of law. Gee I wonder why. Honduran President Mel Zelaya's efforts to move his country away from its constitutional government and toward a fascist state with Zelaya as chief fascist were blocked when the Honduran Supreme Court, Attorney General and military all did their constitutional duty. As they prevented Zelaya's attempted power grab, our cool and detached President Obama suddenly decided "meddling" wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Mr. Obama said in a statement that he was "deeply concerned by reports coming out of Honduras regarding the detention and expulsion of President Mel Zelaya." (source).
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton then accused Honduras of violating "the precepts of the Interamerican Democratic Charter" and said it "should be condemned by all." Fidel Castro was quick to comply with her wishes. (source)" target="_blank">source)
This stance puts the administration squarely in agreement with Hugo Chavez and his cronies. Known as chavistas, those who support Chavez's leftist ideology have decided that Zelaya's removal was a coup instead of the Honduran military acting on a court order to defend the country's constitution. Most of the mainstream media in this country has picked up the "coup fabrication" and is carrying the chavista banner.
Imagine if an American president attempted to violate the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution by trying to hold his own illegal election for a third term. Our justice system would intervene to stop him and arrest him for breaking federal law. Our constitution and its rules of succession would kick in and a new president would take office. That wouldn't be called a coup. It would be called upholding rule of law. But hey, Honduras is one of those small countries south of the border that no one can really find on the map so call it a coup anyway. After all, "those people" have coups call the time, right?
Meanwhile after overwhelmingly supporting the expulsion of the criminal Zelaya, "those people" in the Honduran Congress have begun to create a new government according to their own constitution. This despite the deep concerns of our own Chavista-in-Chief and his minions. Let's see if he sits on the sidelines and lets the Honduran people work this one out for themselves.
