North Korea: Muster Behind The Bluster

Following a second nuclear weapon test, restarting its weapons-grade nuclear plant in Yongbyon, and test firing multiple missiles; the world has once again focused its attention on North Korea.
An official member of the "Axis of Evil", North Korea is perhaps the last Soviet-style communist regime still in existence. In the last fifteen years, the "dear leader" Kim Jung-Il has done little for his countrymen. Starvation, mandatory labor, poverty, forced abortions and power shortages are just a handful of the issues that the DPRK currently has to contend with.
Continued...
Kim Jung-Il controls the world's fifth largest military, with approximately one million active soldiers, and another half million reserve soldiers under his command. Despite relying upon U.N. food aid to feed the famished, North Korea is not only able to sustain this army, but continues to make progress in developing nuclear weapons and the missiles necessary to deliver such weapons.
Fortunately, our allies within striking distance of North Korea can sleep sound tonight knowing that the U.N. will officially "condemn" the recent actions, and that the United States sees the DPRK's recent actions as little more than bravado or "bluster" (source). Nothing to see here folks, move along!
One must wonder what the next step will be. Will we once again be extorted into providing food and money to North Korea in exchange for a false promise or two?
When exactly will it be time for the world to take action against this oppressive, Stalinist regime? How long must North Koreans suffer and die under this failed system of communism? Will we wait until North Korea is capable of delivering a nuclear warhead? Two warheads? Or, will we continue downplaying the significance of North Korea's actions as mere "bluster" while we provide food aid and funds to a totalitarian dictatorship - a dictatorship that continues to threaten the free world and expand its military might.
