Despite the fact that the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors or DREAM Act failed in Congress, the Obama administration announced today that it will not deport some illegal immigrants if they meet similar requirements to those laid out in that failed legislation.

Almost a week after the most recent round of dismal employment reports, Mr. Obama took to the podium to make what was advertised as a statement on the economy. Not surprisingly, the event was just another stump speech from our Campaigner-in-Chief.
